The site was looking tired and messy therefore not projecting the best image to prospective clients visiting the site and making the car park dangerous due to lack of visibility.

We initially undertook a full site overhaul, cutting back and cleaning the site to a much improved appearance. Following this, to maintain a neat border to the car park we dug out a border of one metre and back filled using 48 tons of slate chippings.

The appearance of the site is now clean, professional and a lot safer for staff and visitors. In addition to this, we developed a seating area for staff at the factory as a reward from the management to the staff for having an excellent health and safety record.

This area had to make the most of an unused open area of grass whilst providing seating for twenty members of staff.

We incorporated a hard standing circular set to the centre of the design, with slate chipping detail.  To make the area a little more enclosed, we used banks to surround the seating area that we planted using architectural planting and scented planting.

At the perimeter of the seating area, we created more seating using natural timber as can be seen in the images.  The result of creating this seating area is that the staff now have a aesthetically pleasing area to relax in during the summer months
